Hey guys lets list names of restaurants you have worked for that yu want to warn others of. Or types of restaurants to avoid. My worst experience was with corporate restuarants that make you work in 3 to 4 table sections makin maximum profits while you make minimal tips. Hmmm, like The Olive Garden all you can eat lunch soup and salads. This of course was about 10 years ago when it was 4.95 and they had thin soup bowls that were shallow to make it look like more. So you would pour the soup and by the time you make it 30 seconds to the table it would be cold. And then they would tell you only 3 breadsticks for a party of 2. So everytime you go to the table you would have to run and get more breadsticks. Meanwhile the cook is bein told to only cook so much of them at a time. So guess what, empty bread warmers and fights over breadsticks with other waiters. All this for my 15% tip of $.75 if I was lucky. Oh yes and lets not forget they would make me take large tables with no grats at this time with seperate checks and shared with another waiter! BS. I am suppose to work for free? I sure don't work for them anymore. Now all the plates are a minimum of 7 dollars and up.When I go there to eat I tip way over the minimum. I do love their soup and salad. Lol.
